Founded in 2022 by Ms Lumka Mpumlwana, Mipru's Kitchen started as a single cafeteria with a clear purpose: to deliver nutritious, home-style meals with genuine hospitality. Through tireless dedication, operational discipline, and an unwavering commitment to quality, that single location laid the foundation for rapid regional growth.

Today, Mipru's Kitchen manages multiple convenience stores, tuckshops, and dining operations at student accommodations surrounding the University of Pretoria (UP), University of Johannesburg (UJ), and Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

Our footprint extends far beyond daily student dining. From large-scale festival stalls and institutional catering at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) to catering royal cultural gatherings for the amaMpondo Kingdom in Lusikisiki, Mipru's's Kitchen delivers high-volume food service infused with warm, authentic care.
